Where Can I Serve?

 

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of Bethsaida Baptist Church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation.  We are not to be served but to serve others.

Mission Outreach

Bethsaida Baptist Church is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in sending missionaries and supporting these missionaries with our money and with our prayers.

 

Music 

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of Bethsaida Baptist Church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Dublinair Ministry

Once a month a team from Bethsaida travels to the Dublinair nursing home in order to conduct a worship service for the residents there.  Church members lead musical worship and teach God’s Word to those who are no longer able to make it to a local house of worship.

Backyard Bible Study

Several times a year, members of Bethsaida travel to a neighborhood in the local community in order to share the gospel message with the children of our community.  This is a time of food, games, crafts, and most importantly the proclaiming of the gospel.

Family Ministry

The goal of the Bethsaida Family Ministry is to partner with parents by helping to equip and encourage them to fulfill their God given responsibilty to raise their children “in the training and instruction of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4).

Children’s Church

In order to give our children the best Bible teaching possible, Bethsaida Baptist Church holds a children’s church service in conjunction with the main service. This special time gives kids more opportunity for interaction and learning in a context and manner that may be better suited to their age and learning styles.
